In your District are buildings which consume, produce and convert resources. These buildings operate as businesses. They buy resources from and sell resources to players using CASH.

Examples of resources are:

• Gas - to keep your vehicles running

• Metal and plastic - used in construction of new buildings

• Pizza and Donuts - used to keep the workers fed

Buildings will pay more for resources when their inventory is low. They will sell for cheaper when their inventories are full. Players can take advantage of the variable prices of resources to make a profit from buying and selling, according to market opportunities.

Businesses can be upgraded to increase their rate of resource production and conversion, to increase the variety of goods they can provide and to increase the size of their inventories.

It's nothing personal, just business.
