Community is at the heart of Web3, and community is the heart of the Sprawl.
Your district is your community space. Every job you complete is driving your district economy forwards. Progress is communal. There is strength in numbers, beauty in collaboration. And the more you work together, the more choices you’ll have as a community:
to improve your facilities and make them more efficient and productive.
to unlock new buildings, resources and infrastructure.
to unlock new retail options such as vehicles, clothes and decor.
to visually customize your public spaces.
The citizens of the district can create the community space they want. They may invest in retail and manufacturing to improve their internal economy and get access to a wider range of consumer goods. They may sink money into public art and murals. They may create a high tax, high spend socialist paradise, or a lawless battleground of all against all. They can double down on renewable energy generation, or go for the burn with cheap fossil fuel energy. Each district will grow in its own way to be an expression of the people who live in it.
Decisions that affect the community are made by the District DAO.
